Our client is a local, well established manufacturer and supplier of HDPE pipe and fittings as well as specialising in custom engineered fittings and spools. Employing over 100 staff, their clients are predominantly in the mining, industrial, civil utilities, government and agricultural sectors within Australian and international markets. We are seeking to train 2 x Machine Operators for long term roles working with a leading manufacturer based in Neerabup . Working in a small team of 3, you will be trained to operate a granulation machine which is fed various materials and granulates them for recycling. It's a physically demanding role spent outside most of the time. Training will be provided on day shift then you will be on rotating shifts. Duties: Operate, maintain and troubleshoot granulation machine Operate a Forklift to maneuver items in the yard and workshop Yard duties, organizing storage areas, housekeeping Unloading or loading trucks Use a chainsaw to cut materials We seek candidates with the following attributes: Machine operating experience and a mechanical aptitude Forklift license and able to pass a VOC Drivers license preferred as no public transport is available Fit, healthy and able to pass a drug test Able to work well in a small team Able to work and complete all tasks without Supervision A focus on safety Experience using a chainsaw desirable Pay and Roster Hourly rate is $33.40/hr to $48.37/hr. Penalties paid after 7.6 hrs. Dayshift is 8am to 4pm; Afternoon shift 4pm - midnight Nightshift is midnight to 8am The shifts will rotate every 2 weeks.
